This month’s happy hour will be held on November 20th at 6:30 pm at the Brookhaven Pub, located at 695 Brookhaven Circle. Please plan to join us and bring a friend!

At our August meeting, Chip from Range USA spoke to us about protecting ourselves with a handgun. Several YRs have displayed interest in taking the class to get a handgun carry permit with other YRs.

Range USA has agreed to have a class specifically for YRs. The cost would be $60 a person and would cover the class, qualifying shooting at the range, and written test, all of which are state required to get license.

Upon completion of this class it would be up to the individual to go to State of TN agency and pay the $115 to get license, which includes a background check.

The class is approximately 8 hours long, which will be divided over two weeknights, November 24th and 25th from 5:30 pm until 10:00 pm each night. If you are interested in joining us, please send an email to scyr@shelbycountyyr.org

Former U.S Attorney David Kustoff will speak at our November General Meeting about the recent elections and the importance of being involved in the future. The meeting will take place on November 11th at 6:30 pm at the Dan McGuiness Irish Pub, located at 4696 Spottswood. Please note that this is a new location.
