Former Tennessee Governor Don Sundquist will speak to the YRs at their January 9th meeting. The 2007 board will also be elected at this meeting. The meeting will be held at the Fox and Hound on Sanderlin at 6:30 P.M.

2007 Dues are payable now and at the meeting. Dues are $20 for singles and $30 for married or engaged couples.

The following awards were announced at the annual YR Christmas Party held on December 12, 2006:

Lifetime Achievement Award: Don Sundquist

Ronald Reagan “Tear Down this Wall” Award: Mark White

Chairman Gilmer also presented awards to members Abigail Braddock, Richard Morton, and Sean McLean for their service to the YRs and the party over the past year.
